To be honest: the original battery of these devices (model 454543, 1ICP5/46/45) has 1000 mAh, this replacement battery has 800 mAh. It fits and it works, but it lasts somewhat less long per charge than the original.

By the model number of your device, not by the battery. AC310, AC315, AC417, AC510 and AC517 need the one, AC320, AC327, AC337 and AC527 the other. You will find the number on the back of the parent unit or in the battery compartment. Both batteries have 1800 mAh and the same dimensions – so you cannot tell them apart that way. The battery for AC210, AC215, AC1300 and AC1320 is considerably smaller and flatter.

▸ I have an AC210, AC215 or AC1300-D – which version do I take?

The version “AC210 · AC215 · AC1300 · AC1320”. These four models use the same parent-unit battery; Angelcare describes them in one joint instruction manual. The AC1300-D is a set version of the AC1300 and takes the same battery.

▸ How long does this battery last in daily use?

You get reliable operating times for your baby monitor. The exact duration depends on screen brightness and monitoring intensity – but you will notice straight away that your monitor is running reliably again.

▸ How do I charge the battery?

Charging works exactly as with the original battery of your device – nothing has changed. So as a rule via the standard charging cable of your monitor.

▸ What is this memory effect and why does it matter?

Older batteries suffer from the memory effect: if you only ever charge them partially, they quickly lose power. With baby monitors this happens all the time – you charge whenever there is a moment, not when the battery is empty.

This Li-Po battery does not have that drawback. It loses capacity only very slowly over a long time – however you charge it.
