Luvion fits a different battery for each model range and expressly points out itself that the packs do not fit one another – not even between the Prestige Touch and the Prestige Touch 2. Choose strictly by the model name on your parent unit, not by the look of your old battery.

Two or three wires? How to count correctly

On the Easy, Easy Plus, Platinum 2 and Platinum 3 the choice does not depend on the model name but on the connector. Open the flap on the back of the parent unit and look at the short cable between the battery and the circuit board: if two wires lead to the connector, choose the “2-wire” variant. If there are three, choose “3-wire”. The Easy has two, the Easy Plus three – on the Platinum 2 and Platinum 3 both versions exist.

Frequently asked questions

▸ Do I have a Prestige Touch – or a Prestige Touch 2?

The name is on the front of the parent unit. Both batteries have 2000 mAh, but they are built differently and, according to Luvion, expressly not interchangeable. If in doubt, send us a short message with a photo of your old battery.

▸ My Platinum 3 Plus is not in the list

The Platinum 3 Plus comes with two different batteries – one 750 mAh, one 1000 mAh, and according to Luvion they are not interchangeable. Check which capacity is printed on your old battery and drop us a line. We will then tell you the right one.

▸ Where do I find the model name?

On the front of the parent unit and on the type plate on the back. The old battery also shows the capacity in mAh – that is the second check.
